The Command Line Interface
This chapter explains how to access the Nortel SNAS 4050 through the Command
Line Interface (CLI).
This chapter includes the following topics:
The Nortel SNAS 4050 software provides means for accessing, configuring, and
viewing information and statistics about the Nortel SNAS 4050 configuration. By
using the built-in, text-based command line interface and menu system, you can
access and configure the Nortel SNAS 4050 or cluster either through a local
console connection (using a computer running terminal emulation software) or
through a remote session using a Telnet client or a Secure Shell (SSH) client.
