Installing the 100BaseF IP expansion daughterboard on the SSC card on
the Main Cabinet or Chassis
Step Action
1 Put on the antistatic wrist strap.

Place the SSC card on a clean, flat, ESD-dissipated surface.

Remove the protective plugs from the connectors on the
daughterboard.

Insert the A0817052 MT-RJ to ST cable end into the daughterboard
connector. See Figure 91 "Cable ends and fiber coupler" (page
189) for identification of cable ends.
Repeat step 4 if a second fiber connection is required.
Note 1: With new connectors, push very fir mly until a definite
"click" is heard. Pull gently on the connection to make sure it
is secure.
