Procedure 1 Setting up rack to mount

At the rack,

1 Mount all equipment on the rack: Refer to following diagram that

displays the mounting for the rack.

• Mount Layer-2 switch.

• Mount MRV terminal server.

• Mount Sun Fire V100s.

— Management/Accounting server

— Database server

— Application server

— IPCMProvWCM server

• (optional equipment) Mount conference server. Refer to the

Media Application Server documentation for more

information.

• (optional equipment) Mount gateway. Refer to

customer-specific gateway installation documentation.

Note: All MCS 5100 equipment is 19-inch rack mountable.
